Courtney Trembath

Courtney Trembath is a Logistics and Engineering Consultant based in Canberra. Prior to joining this Courtney was the Logistics and Facilities lead for Leidos (Fmr Lockheed Martin) Australia’s managed service contract with CIOG on the Centralised Processing project. In this role Courtney was responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of 20,000 pieces of ICT equipment including; servers, switches and tape libraries. All of which support the Defence Restricted and Secret networks.
Overseeing a team of 12 this role included the holistic management of all assets including; configuration management, spares optimisation, reliability maintainability and availability, configuration management database management, software licence management, training support, software support, maintenance support, supply support, hazard analysis of Data Centres and the day to day management of Regional Data Centres around Australia, United States, United Kingdom and Malaysia. With strong communication skills Courtney became the single point of contact for Logistics, ILS, Asset Management and Software Services, Courtney established herself as a key resource liaising with the client (CIOG) and with suppliers including; NetApp, Microsoft, HP, NEC, IBM/Lenovo, Dell, CISCO and varies smaller suppliers locally. In this time Courtney additionally contributed to the successful bid that saw a $500m project awarded to Leidos Australia, her inputs included the end to end Integrated Logistics Support Concept for the End User computing project.
Initially beginning her APS career as a Graduate with the Defence Materiel Organisation, Courtney experienced materiel logistics within the Aerospace, Land and Maritime divisions. Developing documentation and contributing to the ongoing support and operational availability of such fleets and programs as; Land Systems Division Materiel Logistics Program, Joint Project 129 (Tactical UAV), ASMD Phased Array Radar Project. Spanning 18 months each rotation consisted of a 6 month intensive rotation embedded within the program.
Following the Graduate program Courtney performed the role of Designated Logistics Manager at the Tactical Information Exchange Integration Office in DMO. This role encompassed the management of 13 different tactical communication fleets, including the maintenance of all fleet artefacts, upgrades and disposals. In addition to performing sustainment duties Courtney assisted the Logistics Manager on the 2089 project to retrospectively develop all ILS documentation, this included; LORA, LSA, LCA, FMECA, ILSI, ILSP, ILSC and support concept documentation while working closely with OEM ViaSat.
Courtney developed her interest in the Integrated Logistics Support discipline whilst in the Royal Australian Airforce, initially working in the supply chain area a shift towards subcontractor supplied services meant a greater focus in materiel logistics. This saw Courtney take a deeper interest in the acquisition and sustainment side of the ADO. Courtney joined the RAAF at the age of 17 as a recruit and attended RAAF Wagga Wagga to undertake initial training.
